Instant Shaping With Bridal Bustier Corsets

A corset is different from a bustier in may ways. Traditionally, there are two types of corsets: the underbust corset, which stops right under the bust region of the wearer, and the overbust corset, which provides support to the bust. Almost all corsets continue till the hips of the wearer to provide rigid control of the body silhouette. For brides, most corsets are made with steel boning, and these can take literally inches off the waist of the wearer. Bridal bustier corsets usually have lace at the end to ensure that they stay put and do not slip at any given point of time.

A proper bridal bustier corset is a hybrid of a bustier and a corset. It rigidly controls the body and continues till the waist and covers the hips, but is also made of comparatively softer materials and is more elastic than a traditional corset would be. Most brides prefer this as it gives them the best of both worlds while maintaining a degree of comfort. Bridal bustier corsets are usually available for as little as $60 and most large companies and retail stores carry them. It usually takes a few dress fittings before the bride to be can settle on one particular undergarment and this is absolutely normal.

It is not advisable to hurry through this process as if a bride purchases the wrong size, it can be very uncomfortable and may not be as effective.
