Bridal Bustiers

It is rather exasperating. There are corsets, then there are girdles, bustiers, corsets, shapers, and multiple other options for someone trying to get the toned look. It was once said that the paradox of choice is that if one is faced with more choices, it makes the decision making process tougher and in the process, makes the person unhappier. So here is a simplified version for all brides: invest in a good, fitting bridal bustier.

A bustier is jacked up shapewear, in the sense that it is more flexible and has the added advantage of coming attached with a bra. It not only tones the user’s stomach, but also trims their waistline and helps to make their bust look perky. Bridal bustiers are mass produced in factories using high tech machines and production techniques, with padded panels woven into super elastic fabrics, ensuring that they make a comfortable addition to most wedding dresses. Also, bridal bustiers usually have hooks that are usually present in a bra for easy removal and wear. This, combined with the fact that they come in different designs, varying from intensely intricate to plain, make it a very big hit with brides, as it caters to all tastes.

These bridal bustiers are not very expensive- they range from about $40 to upwards of $200. They also come in multiple shapes and sizes, and most vendors ship internationally too, maximizing reach and for the vendors, maximizing profits.

Plus Size Bridal Bustiers

Plus size women used to have it tough until a few years ago. To find clothes or undergarments, let alone plus size bridal bustiers, was a hugely annoying and difficult task. Most retail and online outlets did not carry their size and it was generally considered a shameful thing to require such clothes- the better option being to get into shape, whatever that might mean. Society was not so tolerant of body shapes that did not closely resemble a thin hourglass,. Thankfully, things are better now, much better. Plus sized women can find clothes their size in almost all retail and online stores. Bridal lingerie, too, is now available in plus sizes, and in a variety of different shapes and colours and styles. This is how women now have access to the all important plus size bridal bustiers.

Plus size bridal bustiers are wider and broader than ‘normal’ bustiers. These items focus on giving the wearer a smashing silhouette but may or may not try to cinch the waist. There are multiple options when it comes to bustiers, but the top selling item so far has been the one with padded bust support that lifts the bust region. Other options like babydolls, teddies, chemises, bra sets, and so on are also popular with plus sized brides.

As is with most items of clothing, buying a wrong sized product will do nothing to accentuate the figure of the wearer. This has to be approached with caution and patience.

Instant Shaping With Bridal Bustier Corsets

A corset is different from a bustier in may ways. Traditionally, there are two types of corsets: the underbust corset, which stops right under the bust region of the wearer, and the overbust corset, which provides support to the bust. Almost all corsets continue till the hips of the wearer to provide rigid control of the body silhouette. For brides, most corsets are made with steel boning, and these can take literally inches off the waist of the wearer. Bridal bustier corsets usually have lace at the end to ensure that they stay put and do not slip at any given point of time.

A proper bridal bustier corset is a hybrid of a bustier and a corset. It rigidly controls the body and continues till the waist and covers the hips, but is also made of comparatively softer materials and is more elastic than a traditional corset would be. Most brides prefer this as it gives them the best of both worlds while maintaining a degree of comfort. Bridal bustier corsets are usually available for as little as $60 and most large companies and retail stores carry them. It usually takes a few dress fittings before the bride to be can settle on one particular undergarment and this is absolutely normal.

It is not advisable to hurry through this process as if a bride purchases the wrong size, it can be very uncomfortable and may not be as effective.

One For The Big Day: Bridal Bustiers

Yes, it does get all very confusing. There are corsets, then there are girdles, bustiers, shapers, and the list goes on. For someone who is doing it all for the first time, it can be a harrowing experience, one full of confusion and exasperation about what to buy in the face of countless options with innumerable designs. But the best option of most of these for prospective brides to be is to invest in a good, fitting bridal bustier.

A bustier is a modern take on shapewear and is more flexible and comes attached with a bra. It not only tones the user’s stomach, but also trims their waistline and help to ‘lift’ their bust. Bridal bustiers usually are very flexible and are made from smooth fabrics and elastic panels. They can comfortably be worn under most wedding dresses and can be put up with for hours at end. This particular characteristic of a bustier makes it a big hit with brides. Also, bridal bustiers usually have hooks that one would normally find in a bra. This makes it easy to wear and remove.

If one is lucky, they might be able to buy a bustier at less than $50 during deep summer sales. They are available in all shapes and sizes across all countries. Different items have different levels of designing on them, so if a bride prefers an intricately embroidered item over a plain one, she will find multiple options along those lines.

Get It Right With Bridal Low Back Bras

As scary as it sounds, if a bride to be gets her underwear wrong at her wedding, it can potentially ruin the event for her. All the photos which are supposed to look absolutely stunning will now have a slightly tragic appearance to them. While garters are an age old favourite for most people, there is more to bridal undergarments than just that. One of the most versatile garments is the bridal low back bra.

Most women prefer to wear beautiful off shoulder dresses that allow them to flaunt the results of months of going to the gym and dieting. This is where bridal low back bras come in. As the name suggests, they are built in a way that allows the wearer to pair it with both strapless and off shoulder dresses. The back part of the bra, i.e. the straps are made out of stretchable material and are extra thin to allow the user to tuck them in below the dress. It allows the bride the option and comfort of choosing how low she wants the bra in a way that does not compromise the support provided by it.  These bridal bras are made solely for the purpose of complementing the wedding dress and making it look more beautiful while simultaneously providing support.

However, women must remember that they should not buy any undergarments in the first dress fitting. It is to be used solely as a way to understand the dress before plunging into the murky and confusing world of matching undergarments and accessories.
